Volunteer
There are lots of ways to get involved in Richmond Grows. We have a list of monthly tasks that will be emailed once you sign up to volunteer.
Here are just a few ways to help:
1. Promote the library: Let your friends and community know about upcoming events and join us on Facebook. If you have particular ideas about how to reach out to the community, help us out. We want to make this resource available to all. Join on Instagram @RichmondGrows. We would also love someone to help with social media.
2. Grow seeds: You can donate seeds of plants you currently grow or volunteer with our Grow a Row program. Email us at [email protected].
3. Translate material into other languages: Our brochures and orientation materials are translated into Spanish. From time to time, we have short flyers and other resources that need translation into Spanish. We also want our newsletter translated. Laotian is also a priority.
4. Write grants: We are run solely by volunteers and donations. It would be great to have some funds to continue to expand our outreach and educational objectives.
